Changing Rooms
There are 4 classes at the moment who have already moved. The classes are rooms 4,5,6,7 and 1. They moved because of the roofing and new carpets. Room 5,1 and 6 have moved to the assembly room and room 7 moved to the old room 11 room. A couple of students from room 12 had to help which was hard work. We moved a lot tables, chair, cubby holes and wheelies.

Room 12's Film
Room 12 made a fantastic and fun video on some advice and tips on rugby. The film was called rugby values. Everyone participated in the film. It took a lot of filming and editing. I enjoyed acting. The film was also played at the Hoyts Sylvia park cinema. I had two little kids to look after. I had to take care of them, so that we couldn't lose anyone. I enjoyed acting as a coach/referee.

π₯πGUY FAWKESππ₯
Guy Fawkes, also known as Guido Fawkes, the name he adopted while fighting for the Spanish, was a member of a group of English Catholics who planned the failed Gunpowder Plot of 1605. Fawkes was born and educated in York. Guy Fawkes day is a day where everyone spends a heap of money on expensive fireworks and sparklers. They light it up at night time it shoots in the sky at night.π

Orienteering 22/8/17π
Last week we did orienteering with Mr Leon. It was a different task we had to do. It included lots of running and collecting blocks. We were given sheets of paper that had maps around the school. We had to look for the blocks by looking at the map and facing it north. It was really hard because it was freezing out there and also trying to find where the blocks were hidden. Some were on trees and between buildings. We had fun.π

Tapa Drawings
On Friday afternoons Room 12 group 1 and 2 did art. For art we drew tapa cloths on paper based on our learning about "The Pacific Study". We used colors and pencils to draw Tongan or Samoan patterns and many island pattern. The patterns I drew was a flower and a traditional Tongan pattern. I used a black pencil to darken the outline and used a pencil to shade the inside of the flower.
