Comic: Being At The Right Place At The Right Time

This term room 9 were creating comics. We were divided into groups. My group buddies were Meaalofa and Vaimoana. It was really hard coming up with a topic but we came up with one Being at the right place at the right time. What we did was take funny photos and inserting it into our google drawing we also had to put speech bubbles. I enjoyed creating comics with my buddies.

Tribute To Jonah Lomu

 Jonah Lomu was a rugby legend he passed away on the 18th of November 2015. He also fundraised for charities.

The Excitement Of Taking My Chromebook Home

Today was my first day with my Chromebook and I felt happy and excited because I was looking forward to this day, but before I could bring this home I had to follow the Kawa of care steps which was treating my Chromebook carefully. I planned to use my Chromebook to finish my homework and other learning.

My Wevideo

This term we created a Weviedeo. We got to do different things like inserting photos, recording our voice over it, plus more. Making my Wevideo was tricky because it had tools we haven't used before. I enjoyed creating my Wevideo.

Room 9's Manaiakalani Film

The Manaiakalani Film Festival

Today the seniors went to the film festival at Sylvia park. I was so excited I couldn't wait to see all the different films the schools made. When we were talking the man came up on stage and welcomed us. After the man was talking we started to be quiet because it was starting. I enjoyed the movies. It was also good seeing my cousins there, There were different films like people acting as characters plus more. The movie I enjoyed was the respiration rap trap from Tamaki college. I enjoyed watching films.

Rugby World Cup 2015

Room 9 were learning about the Rugby World Cup. We completed different kinds of tasks, here is what I created.

MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!!! LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...

In London the All Blacks have won the Rugby World Cup 2015, wow I can't believe it. People were excited to see who was going to win the finals, the All blacks or the Wallabies but of course the All blacks won.

The Wallabies were very disappointed. I really liked how  Ma’a Nonu scored a try furiously. That’s when I knew the All Blacks were going to win. The Wallabies did eventually score a try. After All blacks won, the crowd went wild. Australia got a silver medal for second place. All blacks got given  golden medals from Prince Harry.

My best moment was after the All Blacks won the world cup, one of SBW’s fan jumped out of the crowd and hugged SBW. Suddenly the security guard tackled him down, we felt sorry when he fell down. When the fan stood up SBW gave his gold medal to his fan and hugged him.

Ronald McDonald Comes To Town

On Tuesday Room 9 went to watch a Ronald McDonald show I was really excited because It was my first time. As we sat down Ronald McDonald introduced himself then we began with a story to get us going. The story was about the missing socks. After we read the story we sang some songs about the traffic. What I learned was to always watch out for the cars and to keep safe around the traffic.

It Starts with a greeting in another culture. Next it has the author's name. Making a connection by sharing I’d  been to Mad Messenger and  really enjoyed it too.

This is my punctuation most wanted I had to do. My punctuation was a Parentheses. I didn't know a bracket had another word. A Parentheses is a new word to me.

How are water cycle works

How a water cycle works:

When water is warmed by the sun it evaporates or turns into gas called vapor. Next it changes to  little droplets in the sky and makes clouds. After the droplets change to clouds with water it rains.  It rains in jungles, streams, rivers and anywhere there is a rain cloud.  The water cycle never stops.

What is Evaporation

Evaporation-Energy from the sun heats up the surface of the Earth, causing the temperature of the water in our rivers, lakes and oceans to rise.

We have arrived here at Gallipoli in a very big plane it, it's just so scary Everywhere I see.I am starting to vomit seeing all these food soldiers have been eating.

Everywhere I look , I see around me is guns shooting, people dying and loud boom noises.I am nearly going to die quickly here as I start shooting.

I am enjoying the food you sent from home it is enjoyable and tasty I appreciate that.

My favorite subject at school is learning new things
