Mother's distress over damage to babies' graves

Flowers, wooden crosses and other decorations had been broken and strewn around the children's area of the gardens. Mother Brookie Himiona emailed Auckland Council about the damage on Tuesday afternoon after her daily visit to her daughter's grave.  "I went back early [Wednesday morning] and it was still damaged." Brookie said. Flowers and decorations and the most of the other graves in the children's section were a mess. "We do take full responsibility and will work with all our teams to ensure this does not happen again." Auckland Council says. 

Air-born: Flight crew helps deliver baby on board

A pregnant passenger suddenly went into labor at 42,000ft – but fortunately, the cabin crew were all incredible.The crew members all pulled together to help deliver the baby, A little girl who was later named Kadiju. Nafi Diaby gave birth to the girl on a Turkish Airlines flight from Conakry in Guinea to Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. Crew on the flight all worked together to help bring Kadiju into the world and once the flight had landed in the West African country the new mum and baby were taken to hospital to be kept under observation. Turkish Airlines later confirmed that the mum and baby were both doing well.
