Air-born: Flight crew helps deliver baby on board

A pregnant passenger suddenly went into labor at 42,000ft – but fortunately, the cabin crew were all incredible.The crew members all pulled together to help deliver the baby, A little girl who was later named Kadiju. Nafi Diaby gave birth to the girl on a Turkish Airlines flight from Conakry in Guinea to Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. Crew on the flight all worked together to help bring Kadiju into the world and once the flight had landed in the West African country the new mum and baby were taken to hospital to be kept under observation. Turkish Airlines later confirmed that the mum and baby were both doing well.

Kadiju was born prematurely at just 28 weeks, according to The Independent.Mother and daughter are reportedly doing well after the mid-air arrival.

    Flood in Orakei cemetery (Submerged)

    More than 150 graves in a cemetery on Tamaki Drive have been submerged. 
    A large flood pool surrounds the Okahu Bay Papakainga Urupa, with only the tallest headstones showing above the flood.  Sharon Hawke, of Ngati Whatua Orakei, said shocked family members had turned up at the urupa all morning. Ms Hawke said they would find out why the pump system had not worked well.
